Technology Credits Mandated for Graduation in the State of Maryland
To graduate from high school in the state of Maryland, students need to earn a technology credit by taking one of the following two courses:
Foundations of Technology or Introduction to Engineering Design.

University of MD's Young Scholars Program
This summer, the University of Maryland at College Park will offer the Young Scholars Program. This is an opportunity for current sophomores and juniors "to experience college life and to earn three University of Maryland credits- credits that transfer to other two- and four- year institutions."
The Young Scholars Program offers over 20 courses in the following fields:

Internship Information
Each AOIT student will be placed into a paid internship the summer between their junior and senior years. The AOIT office will be working to place many students in quality internships, and to give students real world experiences, we want to see them seeking internship placements on their own. Students should use this form when examining possible IT internship placements.
