Grab your tool kit and get ready to open up a CPU! In Microcomputer Technologies, you'll find yourself learning all about fundamentals of the hardware and software that run computers. You'll learn to describe the internal parts of a computer, assemble a computer, install an operating system, and trouble shoot problems that arise by using system tools and diagnostic software.

As a Microcomputer Technologies student, you will be connecting to the Internet and sharing resources in a network environment. Some of the topics you'll discuss and work on are laptops and portable devices, wireless connectivity, security, safety and environmental issues, and communication skills.
