Web Development Class
Come and enjoy the art of Web Design! In this course, we begin learning how to create web sites by using html code. We'll implement xhtml standards into our code, apply cascading style sheets, and upload our work to the web. Once we're able to complete all of these tasks using code, we'll try them with a web site development software called Dreamweaver, creating exciting web sites with brilliant color, images, and interactivity. To enhance and optimize the images we create, we'll use Dreamweaver's complimentary image editing software, Fireworks. Fireworks enables us to quickly add JavaScript to our web elements to make them interactive and exciting.
We also do quite a bit of work using Flash. Flash is the most popular animation tool used by web designers. In our class, we begin our Flash instruction by creating animated graphics, and soon we are creating animated scenes.
